Pioneers in Yoga wear, K- Deer was created with the mission of allowing women to feel focused, comfortable and confident when working out, whilst still looking their best. They offer a range of designs, from plain to print and the best thing about them is that they are made in America with an incredibly high performance fabric. All pieces are manufactured locally in the Garment Centre of New York City, constantly listening to feedback and improving the products with the sole mission of producing their garments in a sustainable manner.
After extensive research, founder of Manifesta, Rachel Blumenfeld found that most conventional fitness gear is designed around an American size 4/6 (a size small) with conventional proportions. Rachel was passionate about creating activewear that all women could wear. By obtaining body measurements from numerous women of all shapes and sizes and receiving feedback on flexibility, comfort and fabric, Rachel worked to produce the perfect pieces which were suitable for ALL women. The infamous ‘Drop It Like It’s Squat’ Capris took 5 designers and ten versions to get the finished product, proving how much they aim for perfection. All their clothing is produced in partnership with a company who put sustainability at the forefront and have been a bluesign approved manufacturer since 2007.
Founder Katie Pippin combines her passions of broadway costume design, exercise and yoga together which makes her bold and beautiful legging company, Linagewear. A company against fast fashion, Linagewear never produces ‘seasons’ of clothing, instead releasing the product as an when it is ready for the consumer, this is evident in the patterns and designs of garments which Katie spends a lot of time carefully sourcing. So if you like a design, you need to grab it quickly before it’s off the market. The stellar reviews of the leggings brand them a ‘second skin’ due to their breathability and the fact they’re perfectly high waisted. Ranging from a size extra small to a size 3XL these really are the #bestleggingsever.
